Acharya is the author, most recently, of Constructing a Security Community in Southeast Asia: ASEAN and the Problem of Regional Order, 2nd edition (Routledge, 2009); and Whose Ideas Matter: Agency and Power in Asian Regionalism (Cornell University Press, 2009). The new edition of his book, The Quest for Identity: International Relations of Southeast Asia (Oxford, 2000) will be published in 2010 by Institute of Southeast Asian Studies, Singapore and Cornell University Press.
